Dancing in the Rain

The sky is getting darker.
Darker than ever
The blue clouds rumble in pain
I shiver in anguish all alone . . .
The fright is all I gain
The billowy clouds burst open
Hurling pearls of silver insanity
My eyes are shut
My teeth clenched tight
I hold myself
With all my might
I tell myself I will not whine
I tell myself it’s a good sign
And I throw my arms
I throw my baggage
I welcome the drops of rain
They melt my heart
And my fears depart
I’m dancing in the rain
The rain, the Rain
I’m dancing in the Rain . . .
